What changes are you making to the Taxpayer Access Point (TAP)?

We are deploying leading edge technology to create a more intuitive, user-friendly filing experience. In the new version of TAP, there will be an “Action Center” that will provide reminders and help guide users through their filing and payment transactions.

The new version also will have an “Agent Center” tailored to support tax practitioners who work on behalf of multiple clients and who are taxpayers themselves.

New features will allow taxpayers to update registration details, such as adding new accounts or changing addresses, sign up to receive same-day email notifications, and retrieve Taxation and Revenue correspondence electronically.
