The Secretary of Taxation and Revenue is an appointee of the Governor and serves at his or her pleasure. The Secretary is responsible for administering taxation and revenue laws as well as laws pertaining to the Motor Vehicle Division.

 

Housed within the Office of the Secretary are the Tax Research, Analysis and Statistics Office, the Tax Information and Policy Office, the Legal Services Bureau, Administrative Hearing Office, the Ombudsman and the Director of Communications.
