Financial Distribution 

The Financial Distribution Bureau accounts for taxes and fees collected by the Department. They use standard accounting rules. The Distribution Bureau distributes approximately $6 billion dollars collected by the Department in accordance with State statutes on an annual basis. The funds distributed are the main source of revenue for the counties, municipalities, state agencies, and the State. The Bureau also prepares the annual financial statements and footnotes for Agency Trust Accounts.
